Story (KATHA)
Bajrangbali (Lord Hanuman) in his childhood saw the sun and started heading towards it, as he had the power to fly and Sun seemed mango to him. When lord Indra "God of Heven, He is associated with the sky, lightning, weather, thunder, storms, rains, river flows and war", saw that Hanuman is about to eat the sun, he threw Bajra (Thunderstorm) on Hanuman and it hit his jaw . Child Hanuman fell down with his broken jaw dead. According to the Ramayana (section 4.65), Hanuman's father Vayu (air) became upset and withdrew all the air on Earth. The lack of air created immense suffering to all living beings. This led lord Shiva to intervene and resuscitate Hanuman, which in turn prompted Vayu to return to the living beings. As the mistake was done by the god Indra, he grants Hanuman a wish that his body would be as strong as Indra's Vajra, and that his Vajra can also not harm him. Along with Indra other gods have also granted him wishes: the God Agni granted Hanuman a wish that fire won't harm him; God Varuna granted a wish for Hanuman that water won't harm him; God Vayu granted a wish for Hanuman that he will be as fast as wind and the wind won't harm him. Lord Brahma also granted Hanuman a wish that he can move to any place where he cannot be stopped; Lord Vishnu also grants Hanuman a weapon named "Gada". Hence these wishes make Hanuman an immortal Chiranjeevi), who has unique powers and strength.
Some time after this event, Hanuman begins using his supernatural powers on innocent bystanders as simple pranks, until one day he pranks a meditating sage. In fury, the sage curses Hanuman to forget the vast majority of his powers. The curse remains into effect, until he is reminded of his powers in his adulthood.
What does the above story teaches us?
In relation with the above story Hanuman ji was reminded his powers in adulthood by Jambavan. This was the time when he really needed his power to be demonstrated so that he can reach Mother Sita who was kidnapped by Ravana and give the message of Lord Rama to her. As Mother Sita was in Lanka (Now: Sri Lanka) and Lord Hanuman had to jump over the sea in between Sri Lanka and India (Rameshwaram).
Moral of the Story
We all have super powers but we have forgotten our abilities. As hanuman ji has the ability to fly, become as large as infinity, as small as a point, powerful to the power of Infinity. At childhood when he couldn't handle his abilities he had forgotten it. Similarly we as a human are born to misuse our powers, we have the habit to suppress others and move forward or to defeated others and win, this is our nature, this is how God has made us.
This is the reason why every humanbeings needs a GURU. As JAMVANA acted as a Guru to Lord Hanuman and made him recall his abilities, only when he was adult enough to handle it. Similarly our teachers groom us make us realize our power. Self realisation or realisation of human power is a step by step process.
"Misguided powerful human is a curse to the society" = Villain

Self-realization the other word to realize your abilities. Sadhguru (Guru Jagdish Vasudeva) has given a term for self realisation and to improve it i.e. Inner Engineering. This is the key for you to realize your abilities and groom it, to get successful in your life. Self realisation can only come through Sadhana ( Disciplined dedication ) and Tapsya (Penance). These two words have very vast meaning in itself. Tapsya and Sadhna can be for anything, may it be for your dedications; It can be your work, your study, your relationship towards your family and friends etc. Any Guru you follow may it be an Ant's dedication, Tapasya and Sadhana is very important for your self realisation along with inner engineering to get successful in your life. The above phrase says that " If teacher and God both are standing in front of you, first greet your teacher and after that greet your God because teacher has made you worthy to meet God". So Guru (Teacher) is considered to be most Important.
